Policed launch urgent search for missing Paisley pensioner

Paisley Police have launched an appeal as they urgently try to trace a pensioner who has gone missing from the town.Stephen Read was last seen in the Corsebar Road area at around 8.05am on Sunday, March 5.The 74-year-old is described as white, 6ft tall and of slim build with short grey/white hair and a beard.Police say that he speaks with an English accent and was last seen dressed in a beige jumper, a black leather motorbike jacket, black leather motorbike trousers and black leather gloves.

Officers have been checking CCTV and searching the local area but so far no one has seen him in.“There is a possibility that he may have travelled by bus to Inveraray in Argyll.
