Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Police have been called out to an Ayrshire secondary school amid fears of a 'revenge stabbing'.Stewarton Academy has alerted police to the potential threat of violence and have drafted in extra security today.It's understood that some parents have been removing children from the school while other students have also asked to come home amid fears.One source claims that a feud has erupted between two groups after a man was assaulted at Kilmaurs train station on Friday night and the threat of violence today is a revenge bid.British Transport Police issued an appeal to trace two men after the person was attacked by "multiple people" at around 9.30pm.A school source said: "It is part of a feud between boys in Stewarton and Kilmarnock after a boy was stabbed at Kilmaurs station.

It's a planned revenge stabbing and because the boy who was attacked at Kilmaurs is a Stewarton Academy pupil."Police have been spotted swarming round the school and the town this afternoon after education chiefs received intelligence of a threat of violence.School bosses have confirmed to parents that a heightened police presence has been deployed in the school and around the area but no incident has taken place.A message sent to parents this afternoon reads: "Intelligence was received today in respect of possible anti-social behaviour around Stewarton Academy.
