Poynton West and Adlington Police said a resident was travelling on Jacksons Lane in Hazel Grove when three people on mopeds approached them on the wrong side of the road.
One of the moped drivers stopped in front of the resident’s car, while the other two riders attempted to open the vehicle's doors.
