Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

manchestereveningnews.co.ukPlumes of smoke could be seen for miles after a blaze broke out at a derelict building in Tameside. Fire crews raced to the scene on Club Street, off Ashton Old Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, at around 5.30pm on Tuesday (March 7).
It was confirmed the fire had broken out at a derelict club house. A number of fire engines attended the scene and spent around an hour dampening the flames.
Pictures shared with the Manchester Evening News show huge clouds of smoke seen overhead from Ashton Old Road. The grey plumes could be seen for miles. A number of fire personnel were still pictured at the scene two hours later at around 7.30pm once the fire had been safely put out.
