Piers Morgan mocked his Good Morning Britain replacement Alastair Campbell following a savage Twitter exchange after he accidentally declared the Queen’s death in an on-air blunder.

Following the incident, the 56 year old publicly shared the story with his 7.9 million followers on Twitter as he highlighted the former Labour spin doctor’s mistake.

Using his huge platform online, Piers used the opportunity to reiterate his controversial comments regarding Meghan Markle’s mental health claims on her explosive Oprah Winfrey interview in March, which had been somewhat brushed over on the popular morning talk show.

And the father of four didn’t hold back as he joked that Alastair’s gaffe, who he has had public feuds with for many years, had made.
