thesun.co.ukPIERS Morgan shrugged off so-called 'Blue Monday' by tucking into a massive steak and a pricey bottle of plonk. Piers, 56, showed the 'most depressing day of the year' who's boss by heading out to his local pub for a slap-up meal.
Taking to Instagram, the new talkTV host and The Sun columnist shared a snap of his delicious dinner with his 1.8million followers.
Dominating the photograph was Piers' giant steak, surrounded by a salad garnish, huge field mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. The dad-of-four, who was dining in The Scarsdale Tavern in London's Kensington, opted for a side dish of chips and a bottle of 2012 Chateau Batailley Grand Cru wine.
Writing next to his mouth-watering post, Piers mused: "On #BlueMonday … a lot of happiness-inducing red! Fabulous meal at my fabulous local pub." Fans were quick to comment on Piers photo, with one writing: "Well Deserved!
