Chris de Burgh has been unsuccessful in selling his Wicklow mansion after putting it on the market in June 2019. And 18 months later the Georgian mansion is still up for sale for its original price, an eyewatering €12.5 million.

And while we won’t be forking over the whooping amount for the 11-hectare (27-acre) Bushey Park estate, we can take a look inside the home which would be an ideal stay at home pad during the pandemic.

Chris de Burgh bought the estate in 1996 and spent the next seven years refurbishing it. The family added an extra 140sqm to their mansion with their renovation and upgraded it to include state-of-the-art heating and insulation.
