Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield returned to host This Morning today, as reports of a "feud" between the formerly close friends continue to swirl.

Over the last few days, reports have emerged that the pair are "barely speaking" off-camera, with all eyes on the duo as they hosted the ITV morning show together today. The pair put on a united front as they appeared side by side and made no reference to reports of a "feud." However, viewers at home took to social media to share their thoughts on today's on-screen atmosphere, with one tweeting: "Then atmosphere between the two hosts on #ThisMorning is awful but good viewing [laughing emoji]." While another added: "It’s the body language, forced smiles and laughs #ThisMorning".

And now body language expert Judi James has shared her thoughts on the pair as they reunited on screen, telling The Mirror: "Phil's body language fight-back looked like a masterclass in stoic bravado as he used the ice-breaker of a guy playing the piano opener to hit the ground sprinting, cheering, clapping and bowing with arms outstretched rather than starting the show in the usual static side-by-side pose beside Holly. "It smashed any awkwardness out of the park, although Holly's body language looked less convincing. "When Phil did turn to join her his leg splay, hands in pockets power pose suggested confidence but Holly's chest-height hand clasp with bent wrists was a self-diminishing gesture and although she adopted a moth smile her eye expression looked sad." Today's show opened with Disney composer Alan Menken playing a medley on a piano.

Holly, 42, said: “Oh, that was so nice", to which Phillip, 61, added: “What a way to start your Monday this morning.” Turning to Holly, he said: “That is.
