A petition to axe Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield from This Morning after they were accused of "jumping the queue" to see the Queen Lying-in-State has reached over 9,000 signatures.

Holly, 41, and Phillip, 60, could be seen lining up in Westminster Hall to pay their respects to the late monarch on Friday, however, their 'media passes' meant that they were fast-tracked ahead of thousands of others who had queued for up to 24 hours.

The controversy has generated a huge backlash, especially after other celebrities such as David Beckham and GMB's Susanna Reid queued for over seven hours amongst members of the public.

One person tweeted: "Phil and Holly of ITV who went straight to the front. Beyond disgusting, sack both of them, think they are above everyone else." For all of the latest updates, sign up for OK!'s Royal newsletter.
