Kate Garraway is in a "bubble of her own numbness of grief" after the death of her husband, Derek Draper. The Good Morning Britain star announced Derek's death on Friday, 5 January, revealing that she and their children, daughter Darcey, 17, and son William, 14, were there with him in his final moments. Before his passing, Derek, 56, was critically ill after suffering a heart attack over the festive period, brought on after he suffered with severe complications from Covid-19 for the past four years.
