Big Sean has said Kendrick Lamar privately apologised to him for his leaked diss on ‘ELEMENT.’Appearing in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, the Detroit rapper responded to a question about a 2019 leak of a demo of ‘ELEMENT.’ The track appeared on Lamar’s 2017 album ‘DAMN.’Though the following lines were changed in the final version, the 2019 leak revealed Lamar dissed Big Sean: “Big Sean keeps sneak dissing, I let it slide / I think his false confidence got him inspired / I can’t make them respect you, baby, it’s not my job / You’re Finally Famous for who you date, not how you rhyme.” (At the time, Sean was dating R&B singer Jhené Aiko).Now, Sean has said he and Lamar have solved the feud years ago, revealing to Charlamagne: “The thing is, that song came out and he changed that bar, right? So that wasn’t on the song anymore, it was a leaked verse.“So I had to keep that in mind because I was pissed when I heard it. So then I’m like, ‘OK, he changed that on his own, so he probably came to the conclusion that it was nothing.
