This year, four out of eight nominees in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category are from one show, Apple TV+’s biggest hit, “Ted Lasso.” Many predicted that the Jason Sudeikis wonder would earn a ton of Emmy nods, but its 20 nomination haul, including almost every supporting player in the cast, was a bit of a shock.
