Kate Garraway has opened up about the debt she's in after caring for her late husband, admitting she is "ashamed".The Good Morning Britain presenter has revealed that despite having a "well paid job", she "couldn't make it work" with her finances, due to the staggering cost of care. Kate, 56, tragically lost her husband Derek Draper in January after he became seriously ill with Covid-19 in March 2020. Derek subsequently spent 100 days in a coma and required round-the-clock care and treatment until his death.The mum-of-two appeared on GMB on Tuesday, 26 March, to speak about her new documentary, Kate Garraway: Derek's Story, which will air on ITV on Tuesday night.
