East Kilbride man who told his ex-girlfriend he hoped to find that she had killed herself has been hit with a fine. We told you last month how George Stewart was convicted of a series of vile attacks on the woman, telling her he wanted to “ruin” his ex-partner.In one deplorable message he told her that he wanted to find her “hanging like your mad mother”.Appearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, the 58-year-old was fined just £200, plus £10 to be paid into the national victim surcharge fund.He was also given a non-harassment order for two years.
