Victoria Ekanoye’s moving performance at Corrie pal Faye Brooke’s ‘fairytale ending’ wedding
There was barely a dry eye in the house when former Coronation Street star Victoria Ekanoye sang an emotional cover song at the stunning wedding of pal Faye Brookes.The 41 year old, who was in Corrie until 2019, performed a moving rendition of Des’ree’s I’m Kissing You during the church ceremony of Faye’s wedding to her theatre producer husband Iwan Lewis.The happy couple said their vows in front of 200 closest friends and family, who were blown away by Victoria’s version of the song, which was originally written for the 1996 Romeo and Juliet film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Faye, 35, told OK! after their special day that the occasion was “everything I dreamt of and more”.
