Scottish restaurant awards: Ayrshire venue wins top accolade at industry ceremony
Ayrshire venue has been handed a top restaurant award.Rock Diner & Aces won the Best Transformation title at the Scottish Virtual Restaurant Awards.The gong recognises the Kilmarnock bar and diner's adaptation to the coronavirus pandemic.And the St Marnock Place venue fought off stiff competition to take the top prize.Owned by Elaine Robertson, 42, and Barry Drummond, 38, the pub, like every other hospitality venue, has had to implement new rules and regulations during the global health crisis.Elaine said: "We knew absolutely nothing about it.
