For the latest news from in and around Wigan sign up to the MyWigan newsletter hereGroundbreaking Rugby League star Dave Bolton has died at the age of 83.The iconic Wigan Warriors stand-off played more than 300 games at the club before taking his talent to Balmain Tigers in Australia.He won two Challenge Cups at Wigan and recorded eight appearances for Great Britain, as well as being part of the home Ashes winning team of 1960.In a statement, Wigan Warriors called Bolton a 'legend'.A spokesman for the club said: "It is with great sadness we learn the passing of Wigan and Great Britain legend, Dave Bolton."The former stand-off, who made 300 appearances for the Club, has died at the age of 83.
