West Lothian charity deliver 50 Burns Suppers to self-isolating pensioners in their local community
Sign up to the weekly West Lothian Courier newsletter for the latest West Lothian news and sport.A West Lothian charity donated 50 Burns Suppers to isolated pensioners in the local community.The charity, Sports and Wellbeing For All, operate in Fauldhouse working with local families, but they decided to do their bit for the elderly on the Bard’s night.The charity’s spokesperson, Colin Martin, said: “A huge thank you to all our volunteers that helped deliver the 50 haggis, tatties and neeps meals that we donated to our elderly and self-isolating, who struggle with travel to the shops.“This gesture was just a wee pick me up during these tough times to help a few more people celebrate Burns Night.“We would like to thank Alan Dewar & Stevie,
