St Mirren fan favourite Campbell Money opens up on disappointment of missing out on international cap
St Mirren goalkeeper Campbell Money, who couldn’t have come any closer to catching a Scotland cap if he tried.The Saints legend was picked for numerous Scotland squads during his 18-year playing career, all of which was spent in Paisley, and played for the Scotland under-21 side three times - lining up against Ireland, Belgium and Norway in the late 1980s.Having been handed a place in the provisional Scotland squad for the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, Money was in line for his first cap against Holland on April 26.
