Gareth Widdop has expressed his determination to perform better in 2021 after a frustrating start to life with Warrington Wolves.The England international arrived at the club as their marquee man but struggled to meet the expectations put on him by fans and himself alike.Injury saw him miss the start of the season and he struggled for form before Covid, while his partnership with Blake Austin also came under scrutiny.He was the most notable omission from Shaun Wane's first pool of England players last March and he has yet to be included in any of Wane's revised squads, despite having 31 appearances for England and Great Britain to his name.
