Spike Lee’s ‘Da 5 Bloods’ Set for Special Drive-In Screenings at Hollywood American Legion Post 43 (EXCLUSIVE)
Angelique Jackson Nearly nine months after premiering on Netflix, Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods” will finally debut on the big screen in Los Angeles.The Vietnam War drama will be presented in a special screening event at the Hollywood Legion Theater drive-in on March 5 and 6, the first time the film will be presented theatrically in L.A.In addition to the two-night run, another free screening is planned for Hollywood Post 43 military veterans in celebration of National Vietnam War Veterans Day (observed on March 29).“We are extremely gratified to present this film on the big screen for L.A. audiences and Vietnam veterans alike,” theater director Bill Steele said in a statement.
