Domestic abuse trial hears how police officer was 'very composed' after alleged attack on his ex partner
policeman accused of a six-year campaign of domestic abuse was "very composed" when colleagues investigating him found his girlfriend distraught and injured, a court has heard.Police Constable Fraser Ross, 41, is alleged to have assaulted and abused former partner Anne-Marie Hirdman, 41, on a number of occasions between 2013 and 2019.Ross - whose address is given on court papers as care of Police Scotland Professional Standards department - denies assaulting Miss Hirdman on three separate occasions, and also denies two abusive behaviour charges. A trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week heard that the couple split up following an alleged attack on her in August 2019, which led to him being arrested.
