Strictly's Robin Windsor said leaving show after back injury 'broke his heart' before death
Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancer Robin Windsor, whose death was announced on Tuesday, 20 February, recently revealed that leaving the hit show "wasn't my choice", saying it "broke his heart".The professional dancer, who was just 44 when he passed away, had to quit the BBC series after suffering a back injury that required surgery. Before being replaced by his friend Trent Whiddon, he performed one dance in the 2014 series with Pixie Lott and was then brought back to perform with This Morning's Alison Hammond in the 2015 Strictly Christmas Special.
