Manchester City have had a Blue Monday with shock developments coming to light - with the club being charged with over 100 Premier League financial breaches over a nine-year period.

And that could throw Pep Guardiola's future into doubt amid comments made last year. The club are braced for a fight after the Premier League released a statement over City's financial spending ranging from the 2009/10 season to 2017/18 - which was the final season before the investigation began.

It has taken four years for the Premier League to finally publish all of their findings in the report commissioned by themselves.

The range of punishments involved could be as minor as a fine, to the maximum punishment of expulsion from the Premier League; which could see Erling Haaland and Co take to away days at Plymouth Argyle and Rotherham United next season.
