Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out of tomorrow night's Champions League game against RB Leipzig after being injured in the 3-1 win at Watford.

Manager Pep Guardiola described defender Craig Cathcart's challenge on the Brazil international, late in the game at Vicarage Road, as "an orange card" - in other words, borderline between a booking and a dismissal.

But Jesus, who only went on as a substitute with 75 minutes on the clock - and so was in line for a start in Germany - took a hefty knock and is not fit for the game.

The good news is that Kevin De Bruyne, who also played a quarter of a game at Watford - his first minutes since recovering from Covid - will start the match.
