Philip Coombes' behaviour in Llansannan in Conwy had been "toxic" and had "corroded" the community over the years, Mold Crown Court heard.

Since 2018, there had been more than 100 calls to the police involving the 73-year-old, some from the pensioner himself, but others from local residents complaining about him, NorthWalesLive reports.

On Friday, Coombes was sentenced to two years following another two incidents in the village. He represented himself at court.
