PCSO killer ‘left phone at home to avoid detection, say police' but still no arrests

Investigators probing the suspected murder of PCSO Julia James think the killer may have left his phone at home to avoid detection, it has been reported.

In a grim discovery the 53-year-old's body was found a week ago in Akholt Wood, close to her home in the village of Snowdown, near Dover, Kent.

The PCSO, who was described as “fiercely loyal” by her family, died from serious head injuries while out walking her dog. Police went on to launch an investigation but no arrests have been made so far and the motive of the killing has not been discovered.
