Paul O'Grady was planning his return to the studio to continue on his radio show the day before his death, it has been revealed.
The TV icon and chat show host was intending to get back to work and held a meeting with BOOM radio bosses before he "unexpectedly" passed away.The death of the For The Love Of Dogs presenter, who became an entertainment icon throughout his career on television, was sadly announced on Wednesday.
Just the day before, the 67 year old had a meeting with the production team from the hit station to discuss his return over Easter.
Paul fronted his own BBC Radio 2 show for 14 years but announced last August that he would be leaving the broadcaster. Fans were overjoyed when he recently announced that he would be fronting a brand new programme on BOOM Radio, which was due to air in just over a week's time.
