The 42 year old welcomed her first child, a baby boy called Phoenix, with her husband Carter Reum, also 42, in January, having recently revealed the first photos of their newborn on social media.
Although Paris seems to be enjoying her life as a new mum now, there was a time in her life when she didn’t feel ready for parenthood and has opened up on terminating a pregnancy in her early twenties.
In a new interview, the star admits she was nervous to talk about her abortion previously due to the “shame”, but has found herself eager to speak out following the recent restriction of abortion rights in the US. “This was also something that I didn’t want to talk about because there was so much shame around that,” she told Glamour UK about terminating a pregnancy in her early 20s. “I was a kid and I was not ready for that. ” The star added that last year’s repeal by the Supreme Court of Roe V.
