Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".

Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.

OZZY Osbourne has announced he's cancelling his upcoming UK and European tour after a recent operation has meant he's "not physically capable".

The 74-year-old Black Sabbath icon has had a series of nasty injuries over the past few years, including a spinal injury after falling down the stairs of his home in 2019.

Unfortunately, after a series of corrective operations, he's had to put all appearances and performances on hold indefinitely so he has time to recover.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Osbourne wrote in a statement: "This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to share with my loyal fans.
