Outlander studio in Scots town sold to US firm with pledge of 'more investment'

The studio used for filming the Outlander series in Scotland has been sold to US investors. Wardpark Studios, based in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire has been purchased by Hackman Capital Partners and Square Mile Capital Management.

This comes after the company revealed plans to create London’s biggest film and TV studio last year and has just two acquired Ireland’s two biggest studios.
