Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Anthony Martial has missed this afternoon's clash with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium due to a fitness problem.

The Frenchman, who netted his first goal of the season in United's 1-1 draw against Everton prior to the international break, reported back from international duty earlier this week "not fit." Martial was part of the France squad that won the UEFA Nations League last weekend, but did not play in either the semi-final victory over Belgium or 2-1 triumph over Spain in the final, meaning his absence today is not as a result of picking up an injury in either of those two matches, unlike what happened to United defender Raphael Varane.
