'Off the charts' - Ian Evatt on Bolton Wanderers' Kieran Lee ahead of Sheffield Wednesday reunion

Ian Evatt believes Kieran Lee is a 'great example' for the rest of his Bolton Wanderers squad to learn from ahead of taking on the midfilder's old club Sheffield Wednesday who he knows will be a tough test.

Lee played for Wednesday for some eight seasons after joining the club from Oldham Athletic in the summer of 2012. He went on to become a fans' favourite for the Owls and racked up 217 appearances and found the back of the net 22 times during his time at Hillsborough.

The 34-year-old departed in the summer of 2020, before joining Wanderers in early 2021. He has gone on to become a key experienced player for Evatt. He missed the return fixture at the University of Bolton Stadium owing to injury. Evatt has commended the veteran for his fitness and influence within the Wanderers dresssing room with the character he has and his ability as a player.
