Video captured a fight between two men on a New York City escalator in Grand Central Station before they tumbled down to the platform, shocking onlookers.  The incident occurred on Thursday at about 11 a.m., when "a 37-year-old male punched a male victim in the face after a verbal dispute," the NYPD told Fox News Digital on Monday.  The video posted to social media with the caption, "on my lunch break commute through Grand Central," opens with onlookers staring at the steps of an escalator before two people tussling on the escalator come into view.

A Phoenix police officer was arrested on suspicion of trying to solicit a prostitute early Sunday morning, the department said. Michael Martinez, 30, was booked into jail on Oct. 16.

A man photographing a herd of elk at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado got more than he bargained for last month when one of the elk charged straight at him. "We were trying to get away from him, because we knew he was going to make one of them mad enough to hurt someone," Megan Foster, a tourist who shot video of the incident, said of another tourist that was seen agitating the herd of elk, according to Fox 7. "What you don’t see in the video is six other bulls that (the bull elk) was also trying to keep away from his herd.

New York City data shows rat sightings have spiked.  According to FOX 5, rodent sightings are up 70% from the same time two years ago.  More than 21,500 sightings were reported to the Big Apple's 3-1-1 service request line between Jan. 1 and Sept. 30.  That number has risen by 18,601 rat calls from last year.

The New York Police Department is looking for a man who robbed an elderly New York City woman who is captured on video trying to give him money.  In a Sunday morning video shared by Crime Stoppers, an 82-year-old woman is seen extending her hand with cash at around 6 a.m. EDT when the suspect reaches forward with his left hand, appearing to accept the generous cash offer.

In a twisted turn of events, a family man turned serial killer nicknamed "The Times Square Killer," as well as New Jersey's "Torso Killer," was put behind bars for several gruesome murders, which included the dismemberment and decapitation of many of his victims.  But even after Richard Cottingham became a convicted murderer, the story didn't end there, according to the host of Fox Nation's "The Fuhrman Diaries" and former LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman.  Cottingham made a stunning confession during an interview with a journalist decades after he was jailed, but not every expert has bought into his bombshell claim.  "He waits 30 years, and then he talks to a female reporter after a long, long relationship over the phone and in letters," Fuhrman said on "The Faulkner Focus" on Friday. A South Carolina man broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and stole her mother's cremated remains with the intention to sell them for money to purchase heroin, according to deputies. Jackson Rutland, 19, contacted his ex around 5:40 a.m. on Wednesday to inform her he had taken some of her mother's ashes.The ex was not home at the time, as she had spent the night at a friend's house.

A 15-year-old girl in Detroit, Michigan, fatally stabbed her mother during an argument in front of their home, according to police. The two were in an argument wielding knives on Thursday when the victim's father drove up and witnessed the incident, Detroit Police said.The victim, 41, was rushed to the hospital by her father. The mother had suffered stab wounds to the neck and chest and would succumb to her injuries.

A Minnesota convicted felon is accused of trying to murder his ex-girlfriend while out on bond. Tylynne Lashawn Wilson, 40, allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend in Minneapolis and fired 12 shots at her on Monday in the presence of their son, according to FOX 9. Minneapolis police officers responded to the incident and found the child next to her mother on the bedroom floor, where she was injured with several gunshot wounds, according to charging documents.

Police in Stockton, California announced that a suspect has been arrested in relation to six murders and one shooting since April 2021. Stockton City Manager Harry Black announced that Wesley Brownlee, 43, was arrested while he was armed and on a "mission to kill" another victim.

Shannon Brandt will appear in court on Thursday for his initial appearance. Brandt, 41, was arrested after police say he fatally hit 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson with an SUV on Sept. 18 during the early morning hours.The incident happened after a street dance at a local bar in McHenry, North Dakota.

A homeless woman who allegedly robbed a dead man in New York City and has dozens of prior arrests was freed without bail Friday, according to reports.  Geniece Draper, 40, was let go after her arraignment in a Manhattan courtroom, the New York Post reported. She is accused of pickpocketing a wallet from a man last week as he remained under a truck that had crushed him moments earlier.  She is charged with grand and petty larceny for allegedly stealing from 62-year-old Jerome Smith. She was arrested a short time later at a Times Square subway station.

Rep. Ro Khanna is paying a cadre of political consultants in the early presidential nominating states, which some say is a possible sign he's exploring a presidential run as early as 2024. An Indiana mother was reportedly sentenced to 115 years in prison earlier this month for poisoning her ex-boyfriend's oatmeal and strangling him during a custody battle.  Following a seven-day trial, Heidi Marie Littlefield was found guilty of murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder in August by a jury in Hamilton County. The home of former Atlanta Falcons football player Julio Jones was burglarized Tuesday while he was in Florida playing in his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In a news release, Atlanta police said officers responded to reports of a burglary at a residence in Buckhead. Upon arriving at the home, the officers were told the property belonged to Jones.

A mother of one of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims is speaking out following the release of Netflix’s "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story." Dahmer is played by Evan Peters in the series.  Shirley Hughes, the mother of Anthony Hughes, spoke to the Guardian briefly on Monday and said the way the show portrayed her son’s death and the aftermath "didn't happen." "I don't see how they can do that," Hughes, 85, shared with the outlet. "I don't see how they can use our names and put stuff out like that out there." The outlet noted that Hughes said it was difficult to talk about her son's murder and politely hung up the phone. The death of Kiely Rodni, a California 16-year-old who vanished after an end-of-summer high school party near Lake Tahoe in August, has officially been ruled an accidental drowning, authorities announced Thursday. Rodni was last seen shortly after midnight at a large party near the Prosser Creek Reservoir, in the Tahoe National Forest near Truckee, California.  Authorities initially treated her disappearance as a possible abduction and searched the area for more than two weeks without finding any signs of the missing girl or her vehicle, a silver Honda CRV. Despite conducting more than 100 interviews, investigators struggled to locate anyone who had seen her leave the area – accessed by a bumpy dirt road.

Four Oklahoma friends were reported missing on Monday after they did not return from a bike ride. Mark Chastain, 32; Billy Chastain, 30; Mike Sparks, 32; and Alex Stevens, 29, of Okmulgee, were reported missing Monday evening. Mark Chastain's wife, Jessica, and Alex Stevens' mother reported their disappearances.

Eight days after Georgia toddler Quinton Simon was reported missing from his Savannah home, police announced Thursday that they have not yet located the 20-month-old's remains, despite naming a prime suspect – his mother – and accumulating evidence to indicate that he is no longer alive.  "Sadly, we still have not found Quinton," said Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley. "The evidence that we have so far, based on multiple search warrants and interviews, has led us to the conclusion that Quinton is deceased." He added: "The accumulation of evidence over these last eight days has led us to this conclusion today." A Georgia man is behind bars on multiple charges after he allegedly tried to kill twin infants. According to Fox 5 Atlanta, 22-year-old Robert Terrell Dubose Jr., of Rome, is accused of breaking the neck of a 3-month-old girl and trying to smother her twin sister while they were both crying during an Oct. 3 incident.

Missing toddler Quinton Simon is believed to be dead and his mother is the prime suspect, Georgia authorities said Wednesday night.  "We are saddened to report that CCPD and the FBI have notified Quinton Simon’s family that we believe he is deceased," the Chatham County Police Department tweeted around 10:30 p.m. "We have named his mother, Leilani Simon, as the prime suspect in his disappearance and death.

The mother of missing Georgia toddler Quinton Simon, who was last seen one week ago, was photographed leaving her family’s home Wednesday for the first time since the boy disappeared.  Leilani Simon, 22, was spotted leaving her family’s Savannah house on Wednesday afternoon before returning shortly thereafter. Photographs captured by Fox News Digital show the brunette covering her face with her hand as she drives away from the residence in a white pickup truck.  Simon has not responded to Fox News Digital’s request seeking comment regarding the disappearance of her son.  Quinton was last seen in the early morning hours of Oct. 5, inside his family’s house on Buckhalter Road in Savannah.The residence is a large, yellow-colored, two-story home with a fenced in yard and includes a pool.The child reportedly lives there with his brother; his maternal grandparents; his mother and her boyfriend.

An arrest has been made following the release of security footage showing a man forcefully walking a teenage girl before she was sexually assaulted in a Los Angeles bathroom, police said Wednesday.  The Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News an arrest has been made but could not confirm if the suspect seen on camera was the person in police custody. The incident occurred Tuesday at a park in the El Sereno neighborhood.  A suspect is seen with a teen girl in Los Angeles moments before she was sexually assaulted.
