North Lanarkshire 'tackling poverty team' to increase as dedicated helpline expands

A helpline set up to help residents in North Lanarkshire with help and advice on the cost of living crisis is to be expanded.The dedicated service is devoted to supporting residents impacted in the local authority area.Members of the North Lanarkshire Integration Joint Board (IJB) heard during a meeting on Wednesday (November 30) that the crisis will force thousands of local people into poverty.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
