Telly fans have been in floods of tears after emotional scenes from the show - and they are not the only ones. Nick told The Sun: "The truth is I don't stop myself from crying.
The thing is I make sure I get off camera, and when they edit it together I ask them not to feature me crying. "The reason is because otherwise I become the story, when the story is about the person I'm talking to, or at the end of the show it's about the people who have given their time up for free, and the family they have built for, and I want them to have their moment.
Speaking at the Inspiration Awards for Women at the Landmark hotel, Nick said: "I'm terrible at crying. Even if I hold it together, I normally stop about 10 minutes down the road and have a little cry in the lay-by."
