Nick Carter‘s legal team is responding to the allegations leveled against the Backstreet Boys singer in the new Investigation Discovery docuseries Aaron and Nick Carter: Fallen Idols.
The four-part series premiered this week and featured interviews with Melissa Schuman, Shannon “Shay” Ruth and Ashley Repp – all three of whom have accused Nick of sexual assault in lawsuits.
The singer has responded to the allegations in court filings and has denied them via his legal team in the past. His team issued another response now about featuring his accusers in the series. Keep reading to find out more… “These are exactly the same outrageous claims that led us to sue this gang of conspirators,” attorney Dale Hayes, Jr. told The Hollywood Reporter. “Those cases are working their way through the legal system now, and, based on both the initial court rulings and the overwhelming evidence, we have every belief that we will prevail and hold them accountable for spreading these falsehoods.” Fallen Idols executive producer Michael Hirschorn noted that Nick had an opportunity to respond to the allegations for the docuseries, but he declined.
In his latest court documents, Nick has said that the allegations of one of his accusers are “factually impossible.”
