Newcastle United loanee sees specialist in London as concussion woes linger

Hamilton Accies midfielder Lucas de Bolle has seen a specialist in London this week to try to get to the bottom of his on-going concussion issues.The 20-year-old joined the club on loan from Newcastle United in September but has made just one appearance as a concussion he picked up before joining the club continues to disrupt his hopes of getting back on the pitch.He made his debut against Queen's Park on September 17 but suffered a relapse while away on Scotland under-21 duty the following week.After effects have included blurred vision and the youngster has been in and out of Hamilton's training squad during the past couple of months.Now Accies boss John Rankin believes the Scotland under-21 talent is a step closer to resolving the issue after seeing a specialist in London regarding his vestibula system - which relates to a person's sense of balance for co-ordinating momevent within the brain.Rankin said: "Lucas got an MRI scan on Tuesday.

It is something with his vestibula system and the ear sending messages to the brain. That is the explanation I have."He is a lot more comfortable with that now than he was before."Hopefully he is not too far away.
