New-look North Ayrshire nurseries unveiled after £5.4m makeovers

North Ayrshire Council has showcased five of its revamped nurseries following a £5.4 million scheme.Early years classes at St Bridget’s in Kilbirnie, Annick in Irvine, Springside, St Peter’s in Ardrossan, and Gateside have been refurbished and extended in time for delivering 1,140 hours of early learning and childcare (ELC) from August.Annick in Irvine received a whopping £2.4m makeover which includes the new gym, separate from the ELC.

Meanwhile, Springside bagged a £400,000 revamp.The refurbishments and extensions include large, modern indoor and outdoor play areas with free-flowing access to the innovative outdoor spaces.The unrestricted flow from indoor to outdoor offers children freedom to safely access and use both areas where.
