New iPhone 13 sold out at Amazon amid huge demand for new handset

The new iPhone 13 is sold out on major online retailer Amazon after a surge in pre orders for the new device. The iPhone was launched last week in a glitzy online stream, where Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed four new models; the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Pre orders for the latest handset opened on 17 September but the phone will only be available in store and for click and collect from today (24 September).

Amazon has confirmed all versions of the phone are now out of stock after huge demand for the device. It means customers will have to order from elsewhere or wait for a restock to get their hands on the latest headset.
