New exhibition to mark 30th anniversary of Ravenscraig closure

Bellshill Cultural Centre will host an exhibition to mark the 30-year anniversary of the closure of Ravenscraig Steelworks.Opening this Saturday, June 25, The Craig and Beyond features paintings by Roger McNulty which are concerned primarily with steelmaking, its dramatic processes and the transient and global nature of its production.Roger said: “Having lived in the shadow of the Craig and its dramatic effects on the verge of the fertile Clyde Valley, provides a constant source of vivid memories for my work.”The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
