Selome Hailu Karis Jagger and Fabienne Toback have entered a first look deal with Lionsgate Television. Under the deal, they will develop and produce unscripted and documentary programming under their production banner Hey Sistah Productions. Lionsgate’s Pilgrim Media Group, which focuses on unscripted programming, will provide development support and serve as production services entity for sold projects.     Jagger and Toback are best known for producing “High on the Hog: How African American Cuisine Transformed America,” a Netflix documentary series based on Dr. Jessica Harris’ book of the same name. The series follows food writer Stephen Satterfield on a culinary journey alongside chefs, historians and activists that celebrates the courage, artistry and resourcefulness of the African American people.

Eight days after Georgia toddler Quinton Simon was reported missing from his Savannah home, police announced Thursday that they have not yet located the 20-month-old's remains, despite naming a prime suspect – his mother – and accumulating evidence to indicate that he is no longer alive.  "Sadly, we still have not found Quinton," said Chatham County Police Chief Jeff Hadley. "The evidence that we have so far, based on multiple search warrants and interviews, has led us to the conclusion that Quinton is deceased." He added: "The accumulation of evidence over these last eight days has led us to this conclusion today." Law enforcement notified Quinton’s family on Wednesday that investigators "believe he is deceased," the Chatham County Police Department announced later that day.The department did not provide details of Quinton’s whereabouts but said that investigators had named the boy’s mother, Leilani Simon, "as the prime suspect in his disappearance and death."  Quinton Simon's mother, Leilani Simon, was photographed outside her Savannah home on Oct.

Actor Anthony Rapp got emotional in a New York courtroom on Wednesday. The closely watched midterm races in Georgia are tightening just four weeks before the November 8 election, according to a new poll that shows abortion is the leading issue over inflation among Democratic voters. A new Quinnipiac University survey found that inflation is the top most important issue to 43% of likely voters in Georgia, while abortion was of top concern to only 14% and election laws to 11% of respondents.  Among likely Democratic voters in Georgia, however, abortion was the most important to 27%, election laws were most crucial for 17%, and gun violence to 13%. With prices remaining high across the country, inflation was only of top concern to 12% of Democratic respondents in the Peach State.

An Oregon sheriff said the state's recently implemented bail reform policies are making her community less safe and contradict what rural residents want. "If Portland or other communities want to be okay with letting some of these people facing very serious crimes out, then that should be their choice as a community," Linn County Sheriff Michelle Duncan told Fox News.

A diverse bipartisan coalition of Californians is leading the charge against a ballot measure to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution, including some pro-choice voters who find the proposed amendment "too extreme." "Our diverse coalition and the coalition itself does not take a stance when it comes to the morality of abortion," said Catherine Hadro, a spokesperson for California Together, No on Proposition 1, which held a press conference last Thursday at the California state Capitol in Sacramento. "Proposition 1 is extreme, it is expensive, and it is unnecessary," Hadro said, adding that the measure would mean the state constitution would effectively guarantee "late-term abortion up until the moment of birth, even if both mother and child are perfectly healthy." Hadro maintained that the text of Proposition 1 is more vaguely worded than existing state law.

The two suspects charged in the brutal slaying of a Georgia high school football star Elijah DeWitt gunned down in a Dave & Buster’s parking lot last week are expected to make their first court appearance Wednesday morning following their extradition back from South Carolina.  The hearing for Kemare Bryan, 18, and Chandler Richardson, 19, both from Lawrenceville, Georgia, was scheduled to begin around 8 a.m. in Gwinnett County Magistrate Court – hours before mourners are expected to gather for the funeral of 18-year-old DeWitt at Jefferson High School at 6 p.m.  Bryan and Richardson are facing charges of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies in connection with the murder of DeWitt – a standout wide receiver nicknamed "Eazy E" by NFL legend Cam Newton himself.  In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Tuesday, DeWitt’s longtime girlfriend, Bailey Reidling detailed the aftermath of the harrowing shooting that unfolded during the couple’s date night with friends on Oct.

A military couple is picking up the pieces after all of their belongings were stolen overnight while staying in an Oregon hotel last week. A woman accused of being a member of the so-called "green goblin gang" that attacked two teenagers on a Manhattan subway train turned herself on Monday and was released Tuesday without bail.  The NYPD said Mariam Issouf, 26, was arrested Monday in connection with the Oct. 2 assault on the northbound N platform at the 42 Street-Times Square subway station.  New York City police released images of four woman who were allegedly part of a group of suspects wearing neon-green bodysuits while attacking two women on a subway train.  (Fox New York ) Two 19-year-old female victims told NYPD officers they were engaged in a verbal dispute with a group of unidentified individuals.

An Indiana man accused of smuggling three migrants crashed his car during a high-speed chase in Uvalde County recently, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.  Richard Diaz, 21, allegedly told police that he was being paid $3,000 per person to smuggle the migrants from the border community of Eagle Pass to San Antonio.  He was charged with two counts of human smuggling causing serious bodily injury, Texas DPS spokesman Christopher Olivarez told Fox News Digital.  The driver sped off during an apparent traffic stop in Uvalde County, Texas.  (Texas Department of Public Safety) Dashcam footage shows the driver accelerate away from an apparent traffic stop at night.
