Plans for the vacant SVS Car Sales site, in Heald Green, have been submitted by developer Landmark Property Group. The proposals would see a convenience store occupying the ground floor of a three-storey building off Wilmslow Road.

The two upper floors, meanwhile, are ear-marked for eight two-bedroom apartments. A planning document says the new ‘mixed-use’ scheme has been designed to ‘create a building that would enhance and preserve the character of the local area’.
