New chapter: Serena Williams gives insight into ‘stay at home mum’ life
msn.comSerena Williams has shown a glimpse of her life post-retirement and joked that she is now a “stay at home mum. ”The tennis legend played her final professional match earlier this month when she faced Ajla Tomljanović in the third round of the US Open.
Now, she embarks on the next chapter in her life, which will see her focus on her family. Williams posted an update on Twitter on Monday to mark a big moment in her daughter Olympia’s life. “Ok first day of Kindergarten,” the 23-time Grand Slam champion wrote, along with the hashtags #stayathomemom and #workingmom.

When she announced her retirement in her emotional write up, she worded it as she would be “evolving away” from tennis in order to focus on other aspects of her life.
