Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Neil McCann insists there can be no let-up from Rangers in their title charge despite their 21-point lead over Celtic. The Ibrox legend says any drop-off in form wouldn't have been allowed to happen by the players as he lifted three top flight trophies during his spell with the club.

Following the lacklustre 1-1 draw with Motherwell, McCann insists Steven Gerrard's players can't let their form dip before the Premiership is in the cabinet.

He says now is the time for the current crop of talent to show they are ruthless and look at the calendar to pinpoint when then can kill-off any feint title hopes from Neil Lennon 's men.
