Naya Rivera‘s dad is sharing an update on his grandson nearly a year after his daughter’s death. In a new interview, George Rivera is opening up about how the late actress’ five-year-old son Josey is coping. Click inside to read more… Naya sadly drowned back in July 2020.

She and Josey were enjoying a boat trip on Lake Piru in California when they went for a swim in the lake. While Josey was able to get back onto the boat, Naya wasn’t able to.

Her body was discovered five days later. Following Naya‘s death, her sister Nickayla moved in with Naya‘s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey to help raise Josey. “Nickayla and Ryan, are doing a really great job,” George told Entertainment Tonight. “We handle him, and we talk to him just like he’s a 5-year-old
