Everton full-back Nathan Patterson is earning plaudits for his performance in the English Premier League after another outstanding display against West Ham.
The right-back endured a false start at Goodison Park following his move from Rangers in January after signing for Rafa Benitez before the Spaniard was quickly replaced by Frank Lampard following the 20-year-old's arrival south of the border.
He made just one appearance under Lampard last term against Boreham Wood in the FA Cup, during which he was brutally subbed at half-time by the England legend.
However, he has kickstarted his career in the English top flight this term. The Scotland cap has made the right-back slot at Everton his own, keeping experienced Seamus Coleman on the bench this term and earning plaudits from the fans on Merseyside for his dynamic displays.
