Naomi Campbell banned from charity role after '£7,800 spent on hotel stay'

Naomi Campbell has been banned from serving as a trustee after the Charity Commission discovered serious financial mismanagement at her charity, Fashion for Relief.

The 54 year old supermodel was one of three trustees who have been disqualified following an investigation by the regulator.The ban will last for five years.

During the probe, it was found that between April 2016 and July 2022, only 8.5% of the charity's total expenditure was spent on charitable grants.

Evidence of unreasonable fundraising expenses was also uncovered.This included a bill of 9,400 euros (£7,800) for a three-night stay at a luxury hotel in Cannes, France, for Naomi.
