Nadine Coyle has hinted that Girls Aloud intend to reunite for a one-off performance in memory of Sarah Harding. It would be the first time that the remaining four founding members of the group - Nadine, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh - would take to the stage following Sarah's death last year aged just 39, following a battle with breast cancer.
Any proceeds from the reunion would go towards funding for medical equipment to help make cancer diagnoses, so potential patients can be treated earlier.
Speaking to OK Magazine, Nadine confirmed that "[Girls Aloud] are planning a night for an event to raise money in honour of Sarah. "She’s very much in the forefront of our minds.
We want to raise money for a piece of medical equipment that helps diagnose cancer earlier so people can be treated. We definitely want to do something to help others." Following Sarah's death, sales and streams of Girls Aloud's back catalogue soared in tribute to the fiery band member.
