In an unlikely turn of events, viewers moaned about the star’s ever-growing hair, suggesting it was “distracting”. Says Claudia: “I am a walking fringe.
But I grew it a centimetre every month and then suddenly started getting complaints. I genuinely get letters of complaint. “The main concerns seem to be, ‘How does she see?’ and ‘What is she hiding?’.
I also had a, ‘Have you got squirrels under there?’ which was a particularly good letter.” The complaints to the Beeb — which are handled in-house and do not go to media regulator Ofcom — mirror similarly ludicrous ones from viewers about other top female stars.
